The inspiration for the Great Mind design came from the desire to improve and showcase the designer's skills on an international platform. By participating in the A' Design competition, Chia Hung Yu aimed to receive recognition for their work and explore opportunities for improvement. The design is driven by the designer's affection and imagination for the space, while also considering the habits and preferences of the client.

What sets the Great Mind design apart is the innovative use of grills on the ceiling, combined with iron pieces, to create a visually striking and original look for the space. This design element adds a touch of uniqueness and elegance to the cooking kitchen, making it stand out from traditional designs.

The realization of the Great Mind design involved the use of stainless steel, which initially faced resistance from the client due to concerns about it being too cold. However, through effective communication and showcasing the delicate texture and beauty of stainless steel, the client's concerns were addressed, and the material was successfully incorporated into the design. The result is a space that exudes exquisiteness and highlights the overall aesthetic.

Spanning an area of 231m2, the Great Mind design offers a seamless interaction with natural light. The transparency of the ceiling allows for the free flow of natural light, reducing the need for artificial lighting and making the space more eco-friendly. The Great Mind design is located in Kaohsiung City, Taiwan, and was completed within a specific timeframe.
